In anticipation of continued growth during 2022, SysPro Consulting is looking to add to our team! We are currently looking for experienced software/firmware engineers with the right qualifications. Positions are available at multiple levels, depending on your experience. Opportunities are available both as employees and as subcontractors.
Intel Boot Firmware
Requirements:
-
Direct development experience with BIOS, coreboot, Intel Slim Bootloader, Intel FSP, and/or other bootloader solutions for Intel processors.

Good understanding of hardware and software/hardware interactions.
-
Other low-level software/firmware development experience, such as device drivers, OS internals, embedded systems, programming microcontrollers, etc. is a plus.

Former Intel employees or experts in the field are highly preferred.
Device Drivers
Requirements:
-
Direct experience developing device drivers for Linux, Windows, and/or RTOS.

Significant kernel level debugging experience.
-
Good understanding of hardware and software/hardware interactions.
-
Other low-level software/firmware development experience, such as boot firmware OS internals, embedded systems, programming microcontrollers, etc. is a plus.
Linux Kernel
Requirements:
-
Direct experience building custom Linux kernels / creating custom Linux distributions based on Buildroot, BusyBox, Yocto, etc.

Experience with OpenBMC highly desirable.

Kernel level debugging experience.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. 10+ years required for Senior level positions. 15+ years required for Consulting level positions. Prefer candidates local to the Phoenix, AZ metro area, but will consider highly qualified candidates located elsewhere.
U.S. citizenship is required for certain projects, so U.S. citizenship is highly desirable.
